Deal with the Contenders – Not the Pretenders
Some other companies may claim they provide similar services that U.S. Aqua Vac offers. However, they will show up to work with a little water pump with a small lawn mower engine (sometimes on a raft), and even pay locals who are willing to work in the water to help them clean your lake / pond. These little water pumps which can be purchased at your local hardware store are not made to remove muck and are so underpowered that they can only suck out less than half of the sediment that is in your waterway. This is why you will hear that these companies can not completely and thoroughly clean certain areas of your waterway. Some of these companies take outside inexperienced volunteers or distributors, have them get equipment that you can get from a local hardware store, and send them out to try to clean your pond.
